Primary Department
We provide Sunday School classes for children from 2 years old to 6th grade.
Our Sunday school time runs from 9:15 - 10:15.
The children who will be starting kindergarten and all grades up to and including grade 5 begin their Sunday School time together in our assembly room. Here they spend 20 minutes learning a Bible lesson and singing together. After our assembly time the children go to their Sunday School classes.
Once a quarter, the children gather together in the assembly room for Children's Church during the adult church service. The children's church service is similar to the adult service where they have some time to sing, they are taught a Bible lesson and Bible memory, collect an offering, and have a time of prayer. After Children's Church, we serve them a snack. Sometimes during Children's Church the children make a craft or play a game that went along with the Bible lesson.
In the Spring, we encourage the children to give toward a mission project. Our mission projects run through May and June. During these two months, the children usually hear stories about Missionaries and are encouraged to find ways that they can help raise money to give to a specific Mission.
In the Summer we plan a pizza party for the children in the assembly. The children enjoy this time where they can spend time with their friends and play games.
In the Fall, the children start practicing for the Christmas Vesper service. This is a time where the children have the chance to share the story of Jesus birth with song and poems or skits.
Our goal is to teach the children about Jesus so that they can come to a saving faith in Him. We also want to encourage them to grow in getting to know Jesus better through Bible lessons and Bible Memory

Jesus...said to them, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them,
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
